A summary about the relation between website and server

After finishing website's design, it's necessary to put the codes on a computer that is always connected to the Internet with a fixed IP. Remeber that your computer also can be a server but only when it's connected to the Internet otherwise, only you and your internal netwrok could view the website. When you type a site name, the name is searched in unique IPs and it's found. Through this IP, the request is entered your website's server and finally server views your website on the Internet. So we can say that the power and bandwidth of a server and its traffic amount have an important effect on your website's load speed and its security factor.
servers are in two main groups :

Shared servers : Usually about 1500 websites are hosted on each of these computers and they have much less power compared with private ones. Space of this server will be shared between different customers. The importnat point is that this number of websites on a server make it slower and also as these websites are designed by deifferent designers so some of them might not be optimized that will affect your website's performance.

Private servers : In this type of servers the computer is used by a user (designer company) exclusively. So this server is not shared between different designers and also as just one or some website are hosted on this server and all the websites are designed by the same design group so your website won't be affected by not optimized websites that are designed by other designers.

In WebOne, private servers will be used for hosting that their specifications are as follows and they are updated with the newest technologies :
  • CPU : XEON 2620 V3 Intel or  Intel® Core™ i7-4770Quadcore Haswell  incl. Hyper-Threading Technology
  • RAM : 32GB DDR4 ECC KING STON
  • Hard Drive : evo850 Samsung SSD as mirror
  • HDD: Software-RAID 1
  • Connection: 1 Gbit/s-Port
  • Guaranteed Bandwidth: 200 Mbit/s
  • Inclusive Traffic: 20 TB
Places of the servers : Germany, canada, France, Iran
